Papaya, the native fruit of Southern Mexico is found to be rich in antioxidants, vitamins and boasts natural healing properties.
Papaya (or Pawpaw as it is also known) grows well in a tropical environment and the tree usually fruits within 3 years. It is naturally high in fibre, C, A and most B vitamins including folic acid and ribovlavin and potassium.
