    3. Of course, water is the universal solvent. But we as humans need water. At least half you body weight in ounces daily. Alkaline water of pH 8.5 - pH 9.5 is best. For more info go to DrinkAlkalkneH2o dot com.

  2. Actually, you couldn't get the same results with drinking water - this relies on the phosphoric acid content (and, depending on the locale, citric acid) to pickle the egg. You can do the same thing with white vinegar. This entire site makes me crack up laughing with its bad sensationalist science.

    3. I am not one to post negatively to anyone BUT... you people who decide to be spelling monitors on social sites DRIVE ME NUTS!! WHO hires you??? Sometimes ppl hit the wrong buttons, sometimes they make a mistake, SOMETIMES they just can't spell, SO WHAT! CAN YOU READ IT? You must have been able to in order to comment back, correct? I just think that is one of THE MOST EGOTISTICAL things a person can do. Let me educate you, not being able to spell does NOT predict someones IQ, my grandfather had little education and could not spell, he barely could sign his own name. HOWEVER, he built a million dollar company from the ground up and had dozens of employees and communicated just fine with lawyers and other educated business owners. IF knowing how to spell was needed in order to be smart, he would never have succeeded. Watch your own spelling if it bothers you so much, but stop calling ppl out in order to embarrass them, the only person who looks bad, and judgmental...and egotistical... IS YOU.

    5. Albertagirl, Thank-You. Finally someone calls out the spell checkers. I find it very hurtful to pick on anyone over their spelling. Maybe they have dymentia or Alzhiemers. Judgemental jerks.

    6. Albertagirl, Thank-You, for calling out those who take pride in publicly humiliating someone. Did a nice thing to show support, afterall none of us is perfect. Nice story about your Grandfather too.

  6. Poster one, untrue, depends on the water...say, from the heart of a glacier....probably a paid Coke or Pepsi disassembler.

Poster two, last statement, also probably a Coke or Pepsi disassembler.

Poster three, possible nationalist or racist. Again, a paid Coke or Pepsi con artist disassembler.

    Poster four, let's hope so.

Poster five, the only completely stupidity is your last statement. Ossification does not require submergence for a year.

All in all....five paid white noise con artists. That you must be pissing someone off is not even a deductive guess. I can only infer then that this is true information. GJ!

  9. If someone is so on the fence about this just do the test for yourself. An egg in water, an egg in coke, and maybe even various other liquids, and see the results for yourself. The world is a science lab use it to your advantage, learn for yourself.....especially when you don't know what to believe.

  10. I finally overcame my fear and went back to the dentist after many years. The first thing I was asked about my teeth which were and still are in very bad condition "Do you drink a lot of soda"? I had cut back but only because I had switched blood pressure medication and didn't have the dry mouth problem. I was drinking several diet sodas a day to take of my dry mouth. I quit drinking soda that day. First time in a long time any doctor of any kind has actually come right out and pinpointed the problem instead of hemming and hawing.

  11. I had a tooth pulled last spring and had some casual conversation with the dentist. He said that the less educated people in the area are giving pepsi to infants in bottles, and as a staple to toddlers and small children. His first hand view of the results of this is massive tooth decay and a lot of tooth pulling for 3-5 year olds.

  12. HMMM I wonder what would happen if you did this same "experiment" with apple juice or orange juice? I'll tell you............the exact same thing. Coke has a ph of around 3.4, apple and orange juice come in around 3.0 which means they are more acidic. So by the logic presented here you should stop drinking those things as well. Just some actual science to compare this little "test" to.

    1. Unpasteurized apple cider vinegar has a pH between 5-7 (http://foodmatters.tv/articles-1/apple-cider-vinegar-the-wonder-drug-of-yesterday-and-today). The bottled crap, orange, apple, etc. juices are filled with other shit that will acidify you.

Your ideal pH is 7.3 - 7.4. If it gets, even, .5 away from that in either direction, cells stop functioning properly and death approaches.

The levels of acid increase exponentially as the pH gets lower. Super dangerous to eat food with a 3.4 pH regularly.

    2. It is true about the pH changes but fortunately our body comes equipped with its own defense mechanism commonly referred to as acid/base buffer system to prevent injury or death from base/acid deviations.

  14. It should be common knowledge that all the mass produced beverages like Pepsi, Coke, Mountain Dew,Apple Juice etc are not suitable for daily or prolonged consumption. They definitely should not be given to babies or toddlers. Yes, I include all mass produced beverages even the ones that are claimed to be healthy. Most fruit juices contain too much sugar and are too concentrated to be healthy. Like all things moderation is important. The only truly healthy drinks are those that you make at home using fresh ingredients.

  15. While I do agree that Coca-Cola is harmful if over-consumed, this video does not serve to illustrate that point. Using regular vinegar you can achieve the same in under 2 days. Its egg dissolving application over the course of a year is hardly indicative of its harmfulness.

  21. Drinking cola balances your blood ph on the acidic side and this causes MOST diseases.
