How to make your own fluoride free toothpaste:
- 3 Tbsp coconut oil
- 3 Tbsp baking soda
- 35 Drops eucalyptus essential oil - or mint extract
- 3 tsp fine sea salt
optional (1 packet of stevia)
That's it! It works great and it's a lot safer.

ReplyDeleteive tried an identical recipe sans the salt and it is AMAZING. been using it for the past couple of months and i will never go back to regular toothpaste. i will also try it with the salt to see what the difference is.
DeleteI have been using homemade toothpaste with a recipe similar to this one (sans the salt). I absolutely LOVE IT. Been a few months now. My teeth/mouth look and feel great. Homemade mouthwash as well. I am going to try it with the salt and see what the difference is but I highly recommend making the switch.
DeleteI'll try it today.
ReplyDeleteI'll try it today. I don't know how my a package of stevia is, but I'll put one Tbsp of stevia powder and will see how it goes.
ReplyDeleteDon't put a tbsp of stevia in - it will really overpower everything. Stevia often comes with a tiny scoop - I'd put 2-3 of those scoops in. If you don't have the little scoop put maybe a tenth of a teaspoon in. Good luck!
Deletefulk salt..
ReplyDeleteIt's pink sea salt..Natural and ridiculously healthy. Not table salt.
DeleteIt's pink sea salt, natural and really healthy. Not table salt.
DeleteYou don't have to make toothpaste at all. Miswak, the product of the arak or peelu tree, is a naturally antibacterial and healthy tooth cleaner and whitener that has been used for thousands of years.

ReplyDeleteFYI... The town of Spring Hill, TN last year voted and passed a measure that took Fluoride out of our drinking water. Im sure other cities have done this but prop for my town doing it.

ReplyDeleteAll water, no matter where it comes from contains traces of Fluoride. You might want to try distilled water, it lacks taste and may be used in place of regular water. For those that want to use stevia - its comes in single pack servings and may be obtained at your local convenience coffee store such as WAWA and Sheetz, for FREE. xylitol is not toxic, no matter what Wiki says. ....
